I made my way to Arizona from Massachussetts to attend the University of Arizona. While on their many trips out west to visit, my parents decided to sell their chain of movie theaters back east and relocate. And that was the start of The Barter Group in 1978.
I joined the family business in 1993 after running a successful travel agency for 8 years. I was ready to take on a new challenge. I have been moving The Barter Group forward by embracing technology like this amazing website that we just launched as well as adding a concierge department to take good care of our valued members and adding social networking and strategic business planning to the mix.
I am all about moving barter into the future by thinking outside of the box. And we can’t forget mojitos, fish tacos and reggae music. I do enjoy chilling every now and then.
